World at Your Feet...

Hi All

Well I'm blogging for the first time...Something like blogging being famous shows that how our world is becoming lonely that we want to share our most intimate feelings on a public forum but on the other hand it gives us a chance to speak out our mind....So I think our ancient saying of 'Vasudhev Kutumbkam'-world is my home is actually coming into real practice now as we are getting so open n frank wid our feelings...But then something like an incident which happened in office yesterday,makes you wonder that are we really rising up from the pre set notions of this so called undivided world...

Well I work in a Call Centre for a british process & a customer was not interested in talking to me yesterday as I'm an Indian & he didn't want to shell out his money on 3rd world citizens like us after what we did to them on 9/11....I know the guy was being a lil' melodramatic but at the end of the day it makes you think that are these the people I wanted to serve...But then when one starts rationalising it we think that we as a nation have had discriminations on many a more grounds than the colour of our skin...Its all about power...What would have happened if the Egyptians had risen to a super power & Jewish had won the battle of religions...Then the blacks would have mistreated the whites & there would have been protests against black people & there would have been a chapter in our History lessons about white slavery...But would it had made our world any different???I dont think so...All of us have a habbit of exploiting our position & power,even if in the minimal possible way...So its all about your attitude & the world be at ur feet...

So all of us who think that every thing is going the wrong way(myself included) lets try n change our own attitudes...May be...May be WE will be able to change some of the preset rules...
